  • Until 1972 she was an otokoyaku. She decided to change due to the injuries in her knees.
  • Her nickname, Shibi, comes from tomoshibi ("fire", "sparkle"). In Takarazuka Music School she fell ill and had a red rash which looked like sparkles.
