- Went on from Takarazuka to become a famous actress. Aside from starring roles in movies, TV shows, and huge endorsement deals (usually involving beauty products), Dan stars in two weekly TV shows: Tewaza KoiGoi and Hanatori Kazetsukidou.
- She won the "Best New Actress" award from the Japanese Academy, as well as "Best Actress" from the Osaka Film Festival, in 2006 for her leading role in the movie "Bushi no Ichibu", her first movie.
- Won Vogue Nippon's 44th "Woman of the Year" award in 2007, putting her alongside some of Japan's most famous leading actresses, models, and singers.
- Married the actor and singer Oikawa Mitsuhiro in July 2011. They divorced in 2019.
