- She was a seiyuu (voice actor) for anime and video games, often playing male roles. Note: Joe from Black Jack's 1996 Gekijouban (Motion Picture) looks like a male's name but she was a female character Joe Carol Brain.
- She played in various Kunze and Levay shows: "Marie Antionette" (2006), "Mozart!" (2007/2010), "Elisabeth" (2008), "Rebecca" (2010).

- Graduated 9th in the 67th class.
- Played lead role of Oscar in Rose of Versailles three times; Bill in Me and My Girl both in shinjin kouen and honkouen; Julien Sorel in The Red and The Black twice. As well as secondary characters Jacqueline in Me and My Girl and Mephistopheles in Angel's Smile, Devil's Tears three times each. (Also another Mephistopheles in Lost Angel.)
- In 2004, she married former rugby player Imaizumi Kiyoshi but she did not change her family name. She mentioned when she was a guest in the talk show KuriCream, on air Nov, 12th, 2014 that when Imaizumi proposed to her she told him that she was not comfortable changing her last name, and Imaizumi agreed that he will change his last name to hers instead. They divorced in 2010.
- Well-know as a voice actor for her lead male role of Himura Kenshin in anime "Rurouni Kenshin".
- Asano Kayo, former Moon Troupe top musumeyaku, was her big fan and chose her stage name based on Suzukaze's stage name. Miya Rurika also became her fan after watching The Kawagiri Bridge / Le Poison.
- Comes from Miyagi Prefecture and has been appointed as a "Miyagi Dream Ambassador".
