  • Was Hankyu & Hanshin Railways' hatsumoude poster model for 1989.
  • She is a big fan of Suzukaze Mayo. She even chose her stage name so that it would be similar to Suzukaze's: Ka (佳, also yoshi) from her real name Yoshiko, and yo (世) from Mayo (真世).
  • Takeuchi Naoko, the mangaka of Sailor Moon series, said that Asano Kayo was the prototype of Sailor Neptune (Kaiou Michiru), as well as Amami Yuuki of Sailor Uranus (Ten'ou Haruka). Moreover, Haruka and Michiru were also meant to be Takarazuka stars in their non-Sailor Warriors life, but Takeuchi changed the concept later.
