Senor Don Juan

Don Juan, a Milanese fashion brand, enjoys great popularity and women all over the world adore it. Granted that its elegant and sophisticated design wins the hearts of women, its success is primarily due to the attractiveness of its designer, Leo Visconti. He is of Italian noble blood and so gifted in art that while young he gained reputation and status. At the same time, he often offends because of his indiscreet way of womanizing.

Giuseppe Pergoni, Leo's private secretary, is annoyed as usual for having to reply to an abundance of personal e-mail addressed to Leo. He believes that Leo womanizes because he has not yet met the ideal of a woman whom he longs for. Ten years ago when Leo was interviewed, he talked of a woman after his heart : a woman with light brown hair and amber eyes who loves ballet, speaks French with a Belgian accent and has a pure, angelic and sensitive heart. Giuseppe is determined to find Leo's ideal of a woman. He is anxious lest a terrible thing should happen to Leo if he does not to change his way of life.

At Hotel Regina Bianca in a converted castle on Sardinia Island, its guests are enjoying their holidays in a relaxed mood. Sergio, the hotel's concierge, waits upon the guests while giving instructions to the bellboys and the room maids. Jill, his love, delivers pizzas as a part-time job and drops in the hotel on the way of delivery. She asks him to have lunch together, but he refuses saying that an important guest is to arrive soon. The important guest is none other than Leo who owns the top floor of the hotel. Rosa, a popular actress, arrives first with her manager. She is so madly in love with Leo that she followed him until Italy giving up her job in Hollywood. Soon afterward, the lobby becomes lively as Leo arrives with his young love of the moment Patricia, his business partner Rodolfo, and his private secretary Giuseppe. Giuseppe notices Jill in the lobby and wonders if she corresponds to Leo's ideal of a woman.

In a palatial casino reserved for wealthy people, Leo and his company enjoy a game. There is a woman who remains so cool that not a muscle of her face moves even when she loses big bets. The woman named Catherine has grown tired of her days of waiting for her busy husband coming home late. She stirs up Leo's interest so much that he decides to seduce her. She feels thrilled at his approach which is the first time after a long time. Meanwhile, suspicious men spy on her and Leo in their ignorance. Patricia quarrels with her ex-boyfriend who has come in pursuit of her all the way from their country. Giuseppe observes the scene and fears even more lest what he was worrying about should come true. However, Leo does not listen to Giuseppe, joking that a love at the risk of his own life excites him all the more.

While playing a ball game with children on the beach, Jill throws a ball in error at Leo lying on a deckchair. He comes to know in the course of conversation with Jill that she is a ballerina born in Belgium. She has all the similar points of the woman he cannot forget. Leo indulges by reminiscing of the days he loved the woman.

At about the same time, at the entrance of the hotel, Giuseppe with a pale face moves about in utter confusion because a blackmail addressed to Leo has arrived. Detectives suspect persons that have grudges against Leo. They are innumerable : women abandoned by Leo, men cuckolded by Leo, and others in conflict with Leo for various reasons. However, there is but Rodolfo who may profit from Leo's disappearance. It is Rodolfo who has been drawing for Leo's sake from ten years ago when Leo stopped due to an incident. Should Leo disappear, the Don Juan brand the detectives suppose would come into Rodolfo's possession. The detectives decide to closely investigate Rodolfo.
