To the understanding of the editors of this site, there is a custom where a ken-1 seito is invited to be the new year's first visitor to the Hankyu Corporation's shrine, as part of a publicity campaign. This is apparently a great honor and usually marks the seito as one with a promising future. (The chosen girls tend to have grades at or near the tops of their classes in the first place, and often go on to become top stars.) The models pose for photos used for publicity posters and other such things.
