I am You
Bob and Pat are best friends. Bob has a rich aunt named Mrs. Honorine, and because iof his rich aunt he spends every day of his life playing.
Bob's aunt is feeling rather uneasy because her nephew is going through her fortune like this. In order to retrain Bob, Honorine is sending him to her private southern island Bambool and the plantation there.
Bob has surreptitiously read Honorine's letter to her plantation manager Pedro, and was surprised to learn that he would be put to work along with the native workers. So Bob tricks his friend Pat to take his place and himself acts as the attending physician for a chronic nervous system disease which he says sometimes causes his patient to have delusions that he is another person.
Unaware of all this, plantation manager Pedro believes that Pat is Bob and works him relentlessly. Pedro has one weakness, which is that he has secretly been doing business with Honorine's secretary Boots.
Pat, who has endured day after day of hard work, sends a telegram to Honorine saying that Bob is in critical condition. Shocked, the lady heads to the island. When she arrives, Bob and Pedro will be in trouble....
