Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a British author who achieved worldwide fame for his character, “Sherlock Holmes, the great detective.” However, the author himself seems to have held a grudge against his own creation. This story illustrates unique episodes from the latter half of Conan Doyle's life, based on a fanciful idea: What if Sherlock Holmes—nothing more than a fictional character created by Doyle’s own pen—suddenly appeared before him in the flesh?
Through confrontation with Sherlock Holmes, his alter ego, and dialogues with his wife Louisa, his most significant other, this new musical will delve into the themes of “What does it mean to be yourself?
