Agency profile
- Her parents were serious Takarazuka fans and, determined that their daughter would be a Takarasienne one day, they took her to the theatre every Sunday from a very young age.
- The first official top star of Moon Troupe.
- The first top star of the modern era to wear a mustache, when she played Rhett Butler in 1977.
- Like Todoroki Yuu, she gave up her top star slot and moved to Senka, from there continuing to star in Bow Hall plays and other shows until she retired in 1988.
- Her favorite roles are those with fighting scenes. During rehearsals of West Side Story she was fighting so fiercely that broke her little finger.
- She once said that if she could change herself in any way she wanted, she would turn herself into a man as "men have more opportunities to show themselves, and they know other kind of happiness than women do".
- Being asked what kind of sports she would like to do she answered: "I have strong arms, so I'd like to do pro wrestling."
- Following her retirement from Takarazuka, she became a dance instructor and choreographer. She also appears in concerts with other former 'siennes like Mio Hajime and OSK retirees.
