A comedy surrounding money and the things people will do for it, or for lack of it.
Tokusaburou and Izayoi flee together, since neither can pay off her father's debt which she is working off as a prostitute. They are resolved to jump together off of the bridge, but the bridge is unusually busy that night. They are continuously interrupted by various people attempting to solve their own problems. This includes Chouhei, who gives his daughter O-Hise to O-Kise temporarily for a loan of money. In return he promises to pay the money back, but when he catches the two lovers about to jump off the bridge, he reluctantly gives them the money instead. Just as they get ready to leave as well, happy in their unexpected good fortune, another young man comes along and attempts to jump off the bridge. He has lost his master's money. Tokusaburou and Izayoi give him the money they were given, but now are faced with a worse problem than before... How can they jump from the bridge when they still owe Chouhei money?
Tokusaburou comes up with a rather clever plan....
Tsukifune Sarara replaced Kiriya Hiromu during both runs of the show.
