Flowers are Falling, Falling
The fourth month of spring, the month of cherry blossoms. A fun performance to match the intoxication of the blossoms in this lively season.
Hikaru Genji is holding a flower-viewing banquet bursting with dance in a field of scarlet japonica.
Unfortunately, there are some fox spirits who live in these fields, and they don't appreciate the noisy bustle, preferring to enjoy a lazy spring.
A young boy appears, lost and in tears. He is the child of Yasuna and Kuzunoha, and when the two parted he was left in the care of Yasuna. Yasuna, by the way, has a wife named Yayoi no Kimi, recommended by the emperor. Yatoi no Kimi finds the boy a nuisance and bullies him, which is why the boy plans to go to the forest to find his mother.
Fuji Saburou the Fox hears this and is indignant on the boy's behalf. He takes on Hikaru Genji's appearance and brings the boy to Yasuna's house.
Not only does he teach Yayoi no Kimi a lesson, but he also reunites the boy with Kuzunoha.
