Danshi Youseikai (男子養成会): literally, "Training Group for Young Men"
An experiment begun in June of 1919, where a class of eight young men began training to join the Revue. Among them were Hori Seiki and Shirai Tetsuzou. In October they had a special trial performance, and in November they were disbanded. Hori joined the Kageki magazine editorial staff, and later became a director and sometime playwright. Shirai left the revue for a time, and then returned as a playwright and director.
