    I do understand that this term refers to senior actress, whose part does the younger one play in shinjin kouen, and I guess Y is for '-yaku', but what is H?
    And also maybe if this term is widely used on TakaWiki it could be useful to include it in the glossary?

    Oh, good question! It stands for 本役 honyaku, which (as you guessed) are the principal performers, not the shinjin kouen performers.
