  • Her career was slow at first but from 1938 she started getting starring roles.
  • Retired in 1945 for marriage, marrying into a military family in Tsu (Mie prefecture) but was killed on July 24, 1945, during a bombing when a bomb hit an air shelter she was in. She was only 26.
  • Itoi Shidare (49th Class) is her niece.
