Takarazuka Graph and Kageki

Hi there~

I was curious as to what bookstores in Japan regularly carry Takarazuka Graph and Kageki. I wanted to pick up some copies but when I went to Tsutaya they didn't carry them. Do you suppose maybe it depends on the size of the shop or do you think it's by individual shops?

I know for instance most book stores don't carry Cool-Up or Hero Energy of the Tokusatsu fandom but Animate does. Is there something like that with the Takarazuka magazines?

Thanks for your help guys!! I've found a couple book stores that carry Takarazuka magazines. I actually found a really awesome one today with back issues of Le Cinq and Takarazuka Graph. Now I have the 2009 Elisabeth issue of Le Cinq and a 2008 issue of Graph with a Kiriya Hiromu poster.

I live in Gunma and it's pretty random which stores carry them and which don't. Some big chains I'd expect to have them don't, and some small hobby stores I wouldn't expect to have them do. But you can always ask the most convenient place near you if they'll start carrying them for you. Most will. :)

I'm not sure what area of Japan you're in, but most any big book store will have it - Junkudo, Kinokuniya, etc. Living in Kansai, you can get it a ton of other places here. In fact, I found that I can get copies in the shop/newsstand on the train platform of the train line I use every day (Kobe Dentetsu, ie Shintetsu). I'm half surprised you didn't see it at Tsutaya, then again I've never looked for it there

You'll find it in the magazine near the performing arts / theater section.
