矢部豊 is Yabe Yutaka :) I'll make a page for him if you'd like to add what you have :)

Could be, though I noticed that the Yomiuri Article on her uses the other kanji, though. As do a few Sponichi articles, like This one (which actually offers an interesting view of the pit, behind the ginkyou).

Either way, if the programs say it, it seems 御﨑恵 is her official name :)

Interesting; A quick google search and I've found Megumi's name written both 御﨑恵 and 御崎恵. Actually, the more I look, the more the 﨑 kanji seems not to be in common use in Japanese anymore. It could very well have been replaced by 崎 over time. When I get home from work, I'll double check some of my stuff to see how she has it written currently.
(As to your second, this kanji wasn't on the lists on any of the sites I usually use. What I often do in these situations like this while working on vintage programs that use obsolete kanji is try to identify the Kanji's radical (in this case å±±) and search Chinese kanji tables for them)

矢部 豊 - I'm fairly sure I have the right pronunciation on this one, but I want to (again) wait until I can get home from work to listen to the intro of a show to make sure I have it right.

I have now tested my first show and (for me) it seems to work getting the Kanji together using the staff listing plus one of the online dictionaries for finding/digitalizing unknown names to Kanji. I did end up with some questions:

Conclusion: For me it would probably work to digitalize the kanji through the online dictionaries and then pose any questions here in the forum. But I'm open to suggestions on other ways to do this.

That's an excellent idea! Done. :) Although we're still pretty far from having a complete list, I think we have a majority of the staff who are still active.

Something that would aid in doing this when not really reading kanji would be to have the names in kanji on the overview page listing the Takarazuka Staff. That would make it easier to visually scan for "useful" kanji-combinations.
Listing the kanji for the different staff functions would help too. I'll learn them eventually but hopefully new little wiki-helpers will come along that might need that too.

I think that's a good idea, Kya. But I'm reluctant to have someone put effort into organizing something like that when it seems that only a couple of people might be interested in contributing. Maybe if more people show interest it would be worth looking into?

I was thinking about something like that not just for information about staff but also show information in general. A lot is online, but a lot also isn't (especially older shows).

I thought it would be good to have a place where people who don't know how to read/translate/copy the information can upload or store scans/screenshots of the information to make it freely available to all those who can read/translate it. I just haven't come up with a solution how to realize such a 'scan storage', though.

(Maybe a photobucket account with an open password...? That way the translator could remove what is in progress or has been added to the wiki to avoid two people working on the same thing...)
