Elizabeth Script in Japanese

Help!

I MUST have the script of Elizabeth in Japanese. Anyone know how to get it. I read on the conceited independence site that the CD's usually have them. I currently have the hanagumi Elizabeth and have ordered the Box set (sigh). Will the box set include the script? I don't want to buy the CD unless I have to...

FYI for any Shizuki Asato fans. I got the Shizuki Mania II boxed set (they also carry 1) on Amazon JP. No commission. No fuss. It came 4 days after I ordered it. It's even being sold at a slight discount.

Thanks again to the webmistress and the experienced members for guiding this newbie. I mentioned this site in my latest (very substantial) Cresent Shop order.

Best

Thank you!
I've had the Hanagumi Elizabeth CD for just under 48 hours and I have watched it 5 times. Naiyou ga wakaru kedo, I am missing a lot.
I didn't realize there were subtitles. That does help a lot for the songs.

> Alas, there's no point buying the CD in hopes of getting the script - shows "borrowed" from other languages generally don't have them. Neither my Hanagumi Elisabeth CD or my Guys and Dolls CD have lyrics. (If someone else has a different Elisabeth CD that *does* have lyrics, please let me know!)

They work pretty well, though sometimes I find the subs hard to read (when you're trying to figure out stroke order on a tiny on-screen kanji...) And since none of the spoken lines are subbed, you have to listen as hard as you can and try to get them right. :/

For me I know the musical beforehand through the Vienna DVD and since then, this show has been easy to follow since it is a complex show in a way.

Yes I am weird that way when it comes to watching raw/unsubbed shows, :)!

The box set wouldn't include the script, unfortunately. The CD soundtrack MIGHT include the song lyrics in the liner notes. They rarely (if ever?) produce entire scripts of non-original productions. (Original production scripts are typically printed in the Le Cinq for that show)

However, The one good things about the Elisabeth DVDs is that they're the only Takarazuka DVDs (to my knowledge) that are actually subtitled in Japanese - and the TCA pictures website lists this, yet again, as a feature on the Yukigumi 07 DVD.

You can try this out on your hanagumi version if you would like to see. (I can't recall if it's an option in the DVD menu or if you actually have to use your DVD player's subtitle button/feature to access the subtitles)

Edit: looks like Genkigimp beat me to it!
Well all the Elisabeth DVDs have a subtitle option, but it just gives subs for the songs. I have yet to see a full script of Elisabeth in Japanese, to my knowledge they didn't release it.
