hoshigumi (星組): literally, "star troupe"
"Hoshigumi" and "
Star Troupe" may be used interchangeably on this site. Star Troupe's signature color is blue, and the current top star is
Rei Makoto.
Hoshigumi was first created in July of 1933. However, in 1939, during the war, it was suspended and the Revue returned to only the original three troupes (Flower, Moon, and Snow). Hoshigumi became an entity again in 1948.
