The results of the 2009 Takarazuka Music School Exam were announced

03/31/2009: The results of the 2009 Takarazuka Music School Exam were announced. 40 girls were accepted, and will have their entrance ceremony on April 18th. They will become members of the 97th class, which will graduate in 2011.

1,106 people applied this year, which is 252 more than last year.

Among the successful applicants is the eldest daughter of Tsukushino Aya, a former Yukigumi musumeyaku. Also a Japanese-American girl from New York, who first fell in love with Takarazuka when she saw it in Tokyo at age ten.
