Reviews!

Nope, I'm not misspelling "revue". *grin* I was talking to some folks recently, and I know it's come up in a few places.... Reviews!

I think the TakaWiki has become an amazing database for obscure factoids and all kinds of trivia, but one thing it's really lacking in comparison are some good, old-fashioned, biased opinions. So I'd really like to encourage everyone, don't be shy — add some reviews to your favorite (or least-favorite) shows' pages!

Anyone who's registered on the wiki can add a page. The TakaWiki has a template for reviews, but feel free to modify it as you want. Just be careful and name your page according to the guidelines — that way it won't get accidentally over-written if someone makes a page with the exact same name you used. You can read more about adding an entry, formatting tips, page-naming guidelines, etc. over at the intro and rules page, and of course the editors and the community at large here can help if you're having problems.

Also, if you happen to have a review somewhere else on the internet, on a web page or in a blog, and you don't want to make a wiki page, please consider linking to it here instead!

I'm going back and adding links to some of the reviews in my review journal, but they're just my opinion. I'd love to see differing opinions on the same shows. After all, everyone has different tastes....

I don't know what it should look like - just alphabetical by show name and reviewer maybe? Simple is easiest...

And it should be linked to from the performance page.

And if someone else will make it, I'll add my reviews to it.

When you mentioned this on your journal, the thought came up that it would be good to have an overview over existing reviews, since it's like a lottery to find them when they're only linked on the respective show's page.
I liked the thought of having a 'review index' somewhere, and I figured since the number of reviews is still relatively small it might not be too late to start such an index and include those that have been posted / linked already.

I don't really have an idea what that index should look like, but I figured there have been so many ingeniously useful features added to the TakaWiki already that someone might come up with a concept for a review index, too.
