Other

  • She had some bad luck with her dream roles. When she got to play Oscar in The Rose of Versailles she missed the Takarazuka run due to participating in the 1989 New York tour, and when she was granted her request to play Rudolf in Mayerling she tore off her Achilles tendon and missed the Takarazuka run due to being hospitalized and having her right leg in a plaster cast for six months.
  • She is notable for being a former top star who neither married nor pursued a performance career after Takarazuka, though she does participate in OG gala concerts and holds an annual dinner show for her fans.
  • She is currently teaching speech at Takarazuka. Some of her former students who are also her big fans and borrowed her kanji for their stage names are Suzumi Shio and Shimon Yuriya.
