STATUS REPORT -- PLEASE READ THIS
We've been live for 24 hours; isn't it fabulous? <3 Here's what's been done in that time.
1. With everyone's help, we've managed to fix broken links across hundreds of pages already! Thank you all for giving so freely of your time and attention.
2. The third category of broken links, the text links that aren't in tables, have been revealed as much less of a problem than I realised.
In the case of the first one I saw, the page seemed genuinely not to exist, and I assumed the worst. But it seems the vast majority of them are broken simply because they use punctuation and the wiki software has become more particular about which characters it will accept within double parentheses.
From now on, please use the bracket method whenever you create a wiki link containing punctuation. Links that are at present broken because they used punctuation within double parentheses can be fixed simply by replacing them with bracket links. 2. My eternal love and appreciation is even now en route to those of you who have found your way to the donate button. Thanks to your generosity, I have already been able to write to TakaWiki's hosting service to arrange lots of delicious new bandwidth for us to consume.
The wiki has also gone a long way towards paying me back for its setup costs, which is a great relief, what with Osa-san's Sky Stage DVD box set coming out in a couple of weeks. ;)
