    Lately I've taken to editing the pages of OG 'ziennes I keep up with, usually to update on their OG status, but sometimes to add a role name if I find one. Today, I was trying to edit Kodama Ai's page, and the page of the 1981 "New Tale of Genji" to put in her shinko role, and both times I got the message "Permission denied, you cannot edit this page."

    Is something going on?

    At some point in the past year, the tiki software was updated. Since then, any pages with an exclamation point in the title cannot be edited. If you try, the system logs you out.

    It's rather annoying, but we've been working around it by renaming the page without the exclamation point, editing the page, and then renaming the page once more.

    The other option would be to leave the exclamation point out of the page name, but then all of the back links to the page would need to be fixed (all of the staff, cast, and all of the performance pages by year, troupe, alphabet, etc.).


    I suspect you got the error with Kodama Ai's page because you'd already been logged out.
