    I was watching Revue of Dreams 2006 (Moon troupe) the other day and experiencing a scene with vocal cut off. There's music but no vocal, and there's this text pop up during this scene;
    著作権上のりゆうによりボーカルを割愛いたしております

    I saw the exact same scene on Youtube and there's vocal in the Youtube clip so I'm not sure if it's just my DVD or what.

    It happened again in The Legend of the Revue Comos 2005 :(

    Anybody experience this? and why there's vocal in the Youtube clip and not my DVD T_T

    There's also this text

    in the clip so the clip owner must added the vocal in.

    Yea it could be anything :(
    I still can't get over that there's no vocal on my DVD even it's just a few scene wahhhhh T_T

    Yes, this is fairly common practice lately, particularly for revues. If you want to be certain no scenes are missing vocals or music, look at the DVD description in the TCA store. They always post a notice. For example "Last Play / Heat on Beat":

    The youtube clip might have been recorded off of Sky Stage? Often although they don't have the rights to music for commercial purposes they are able to get the rights for broadcasting.
