    Hello! I am currently trying to translate and add English subtitles (for my own personal use) to my recording of last year's Flower troupe production of Elisabeth (I own the Blu-ray). While I have been able to find plenty of translations of the script and individual songs, I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what Nozomi Fuuto (playing Luigi Lucheni) is saying to the audience at the beginning of Act II. I understand that this opening dialogue changes with every production (and perhaps with each performance?), so I know that those who have not seen the particular show that was recorded for the Blu-ray/DVD may not have seen this dialogue and thus do not know what I am trying to translate. But if anyone has seen it, could you offer me even a basic English translation of what Nozomi Fuuto is saying to the audience? I checked the Blu-ray to see if it included Japanese subtitles (because this would be so much easier if I could just see the Japanese), but alas, it does not. Any and all help is appreciated!

    @cirrus: That typhoon adlib is too funny!

    When I went, Saeko was in the audience and Daimon created this meta moment by addressing her as the "lord of the underworld" haha. Bless her

    I'm so terrible at translation, you might say that's more like "give me a nice picture"....well, I'll let you handle the translation. T_T'

    I believe that part is かっこよく撮ってくれよ, "I'll coolly take a picture", "I'll take a nice shot", kind of thing. I think if you search for something like アドリブ　エリザベート　you'll likely find decent transcriptions that people posted after seeing the actual performance, as japanese fans like to document these things. good luck!!

    Yes! That is the part that I am looking to translate and subtitle. I really want to make my subtitles as accurate as I can, so I will keep looking for a line-by-line translation. But thank you for the tips. :)

    There is also one line just as Nozomi Fuuto comes out onto the bridge; interrupting her humming, she says something that sounds like かっこよくとってよ. I am still trying to figure out what this means, so any and all help with this is appreciated.

    I remember the first performance I saw for example, it was after a typhoon, so Daimon said something sleazy to someone in the front row about how if they went on a trip together, the storm wouldn't be so scary.... T_T' that Daimon...

    I'm not sure if you still want an answer, but if you mean the adlib for Kitsch, she's talking about spotting a pretty oneechan in a pretty kimono in the first row. she says something weird, something like 俺好みの顔に生まれてきちゃったのぉ 笑って下さいよ! which is kind of hard to translate.... but she wants a smile to appear on "that face she (Lucheni) likes" and then she takes a picture ハトが出ますよ, apparently the "birdie coming out" is some weird general phrase when using one of those old cameras, so Lucheni always says it.
    and it does change a bit for each performance, Daimon had a lot of fun playing with it every day. sometimes the "oneechan" would end up being a visiting sienne from another troupe, or an OG. or if it's a special event or day, she made it themed. the DVD version is usually pretty ordinary, sometimes it lasted quite some minutes.... >.
