Another Greco-Roman Pop Musical for Asako

Hey everyone! I'm going through livejournal withdrawal, because every internet cafe I've tried from Beijing to Zada is denying me this year. What an odd website for the government to block. (On the other hand, Zada has internet now. It's amazing the places you can get high-speed internet next to yak-dung fueled stoves...)

ANYWAY, they finally announced the Theater Drama City show for Tsukigumi. A-“R”ex. It's about the life of Alexander the Great — "a sometimes comical, sometimes surreal show musical with popish and cynical music". After the mixed reactions to Akatsuki no Roma, this seems pretty gutsy of Hankyu. On the other hand, the author/director will be Ogita Kouichi. And Ogy-S has a way of making things interesting. I've only seen one of his Bow Hall shows, though, so I don't know if they tend to be as revolutionary as his revues. Thoughts? I rather liked Akatsuki, so I'm looking forward to Asako's Alexander.

And Yuuhi will have a new Bow Hall lead, in something called Hollywood Lover. Written and directed by Ueda Keiko. Interesting, since she directed and wrote "The Last Party", Yuuhi's last two Bow Hall leads ('04, '06).

Oh, and could someone ask Sanalith to email me? I don't have any up-to-date emails in my stupid webmail hotmail account. Thankee.
