1830s. Alfred is a student in Paris, one of the dandy set. He has recently had his heart broken by a cheating woman and has fallen into a nihilistic despair until he meets George in the center of the city during an unsettled student demonstration. The two become lovers and go on a trip to Venice, but can Alfred overcome his dark side?
