sayonara show (さよならショー)
The final two performances at the Grand Theater and the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater of a retiring top star (or, in some cases, other senior star) has an extra thirty to forty minute "sayonara show" after the regular performance has ended. This show is usually a collection of the theme songs sung by the star over their career, with fellow taidansha and other troupe members serving as backup.
