Summary

WARNING!! MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!

Act 1

A short musical play about boyfriend RYU and girlfriend REMI. They get into an arguement where REMI complains that RYU spends too much time checking out other girls and doesn't pay enough attention to her, and RYU counters with the fact that the meal she made for him that he was looking forward to so much was eggs, and he has told REMI hundreds of times that he is allergic to eggs.

They are overheard by some strange looking folks in odd costume, who grin and laugh, since to them life and love is all a game. REMI and RYU suddenly lose consciousness, and when they wake up they're inside a love game. Putchi and Mari-Mari explain the rules to them: They will have three chances to pick out the other from a masked group. If they can't do it, they'll be stuck in the game forever.

RYU is faced with a singing competition, and told to chose the woman he thinks best suits him. He picks one, and later Putchi challenges him to pick out this "perfect woman" again from the masked crowd. When RYU can't, Putchi points out that pretty faces are indistinguishable under masks.

Meanwhile, REMI is taken to a host club, and told to pick out the perfect host. She does, but later she, too, can't pick the man out from the crowd.

Both RYU and REMI have a supporter in the game. For REMI it is Mister Play, and for RYU it is Miss Merry. Play wants to hurry up and finish the competitions, but Merry argues with him that the point of the love game is for the players to enjoy themselves. We see tension between these two shadowy figures.

The time for the last choice arrives, but suddenly the game breaks! The players all panic, and when they finally get the virus out of the machine there is only ten minutes left for RYU and REMI to find each other in the masked ballroom. All seems lost in the confusion and noise... Can they do it?
