Unmatched in Dreams and Reality
Based on the best-selling novels by Yoshikawa Eiji, this is a dramatization of the life of Minamoto Musashi, founder of the "Two Heavens as One" school of double-bladed swordsmanship, a swordsman who could boast of being unmatched in dreams and reality.
When the Tokugawa were triumphant at the Battle of Sekigahara, it ushered in an era of peace. Shinmen Takuzou, an uncommonly brave country samurai of Miyamoto village in the Sakushu Region, had become a roughneck who bulled over those who stood in his way. However, after receiving an education from the traveling monk Takuan, in repentance for his foolish actions he changed his name to Miyamoto Musashi and to meet his resolve of taking the path of the sword, he set out traveling to hone both mind and body. Among the many hardships of the discipline of sword training, he met many people, and grew up amid the suffering and distress. And although they often think of each other, Musashi and his childhood sweetheart Otsu always pass by each other.... Meanwhile, at the same time, there is another name spreading far and wide as a genius swordsman. This name is Sasaki Koujirou. There is a deep destiny connecting Musashi and Koujirou. What will be the final outcome of the predestined dual between the two...?
This will be the first performance for Tamaki Ryou and Misono Sakura as a top star couple of Moon Troupe.
