WARNING!! MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!

The Samurai's Poem in the Rumbling of the Sea

A tale of the final stop of Hasekura Tsunenaga's embassy to Rome. His ship reached Manila in 1618. There the governor-general asked for the loan of his ship for a year as protection against attacks by the British and the Dutch. After more than five years travel, Hasekura's retainers were not pleased with the idea, but Hayase Tokurou (seduced by the governor-general's daughter) argued in favor.

Crescendo!
