2002/21/21 Flower Troupe: 桜乃彩音 Sakurano Ayane
The name of Takarasienne: She Wanted to Use "Sakura"...

"I wanted to use the character for "sakura" (cherry blossom) in my stage name, and "no" and "ayane" seemed to fit it; I thought of it mostly by myself," she said with a faint blush.

In her hometown of Tsuyama, there is a park (Kakuzan Park) famous for its cherry blossoms. She just underwent her hatsubutai this spring. Like a flower bud which has barely begun to swell, an artless musumeyaku hope. Her nickname is "Ayane."

Around the time when she was learning classic ballet in her second year of junior high, she was enchanted when she saw Cosmos Troupe's "Elisabeth" for the first time, and when she became a high school student she took the exam for the Music School. After entering the Revue, she has been placed into Flower Troupe. Her first performance in the Grand Theater was that very same "Elisabeth", where she played a townsperson and one of the harlots.

"I'm so happy it can't be believed to be able to make my first appearance in this show. While I was performing on stage, I had the dream-sensation as if I were watching the beautiful stage from the highest seat in the audience."

She was also chosen to be parent company Hankyu Railroad's "'03 New Face of Spring". She'll debut in beautiful Japanese-style as the model for the railway New Year's posters, New Year's cards, on the front cover of magazines, and so forth (photograph).

"It was my first time being photographed and everything, so I was nervous. When I see the posters with the pictures of me, I cast my eyes down. But, starting from New Year's Flower Troupe will be performing in Tokyo, so I think I'll have fewer chances to see it. It's my first time going to Tokyo, and I'm looking forward to it."

For the future, she has said: "I want to be a traditional Takarazuka musumeyaku who can compliment the otokoyaku I partner."
