The Demon of Suzaku Gate


Heian Period Japan. Hanamaro covets the Biwa Master's biwa, and makes friends with his daughters. He slips off with the biwa, but Tsuki-hime pursues him relentlessly. When she catches up with him, Hanamaro drugs her and slips away again. When he tries to play it, a voice announces that the biwa chooses its master and will play for no other. In a rage, Hanamaro throws the biwa away, and it disappears. He learns that it is past the Suzaku Gate, and goes to fetch it....


Le Pierrot


This revue show is based on Voltaire's Candide. Candide, Pangloss, and Cacambo wander and have many adventures, from Pirates, to jungles, to El Dorado.
