  • It was often said that she was cuter than the doll (Stephen) she was holding in her arm when she played the role of Young Marie Antoinette.
  • After retiring from Takarazuka she tried out for, and got into, Gekidan Shiki. In 1979 she originated the role of Kristine in Japan--and then immediately retired to marry, never appearing on stage again.
